V - The New Remake.. Err.. Reboot
So, there I am getting up to work for the night (I code better at night), hop on the PC, open up Digg.com to see what’s become popular while I slept, and there I see it…. “First Footage From Sci-Fi Remake “V”. Alien Leader = HOT“. A link for a clip about a remake of one of my favorite sci-fi shows when I was growing up. “V”
Now I’ll freely admit that I’m a nerd, geek, what-ever you want to call me. I love my gadgets, technology, and my sci-fi. I love the fact that I’m able to be alive at this time of human history, where we have previously spent 99% of it under candlelight, to see the dawn of the technological age of man. Advances in computers, space-flight, modern medican, etc… Hell, what ticks me off about dying isn’t the fear of not existing anymore, it’s missing out on all the cool advances, technology, and not knowing how everything turns out. But back to my point… I love my Sci-Fi and my “V”. It’s one of those things that I remember fondly about growing up. Just like Intellevision, LaserDisc, and Saturday morning cartoons before they became crap. It’s a staple of my youth.
